This image is of a American Predator drone firing hellfire missiles in a test. The Predator drone was one of the first American drones and can fire missiles faster then the speed of sound. I chose this picture because it, first of all, represents the destructive power of new technology, like how it can be used to kill mass amounts of people, and how advanced out technology already is, which was part of the main message that this book contained. Secondly, this picture represents how technology can cause fear, hence the firing missiles, in little brother, the DHS uses technology and fear to oppress the teens of San Francisco.

Another way this image relates to my book is what this specific drone is used for. This specific drone, the Predator Drone, was used multiple times against terrorists, and Al Qaeda, which was the group of terrorists that attacked San-Francisco in Little Brother.
